Here are five simple (yet perfectly legitimate) questions about religion, in no particular order:
1. Why did God rest on the seventh day? Was he tired?
2. How come the Old Testament prophets knew that a Messiah was coming, yet none of them knew what his name was or what year he would be coming?
3. Why does the Virgin only appear to Catholics?
4. How come God can cure blindness, cancer and spinal cord injuries (allegedly), but cannot make a missing arm or leg grow back?
5. Assuming I get there, am I allowed to read comics in Heaven or is it just praying, worshipping and singing hymns all day? And if I am allowed, what happens if some of them contain some nudity? (Many of my favourite comics do.)
